"Together forEurope" is the expression of a pathway that gathers numerous activities of Christian communities and movements geared towards the promotion of reconciliation, peace, fraternity in the European continent. It is also the title of specific big European events that took place in 2004 and in 2007 in Stuttgart.
Christian communities and moviments, although they are as different as their cultures, language, region of Europe, they are aware of that which could divide them, but they value even more the spirit, the ideas, the values, the committments that they share.
Together, they make the specific gifts that each one brings more effective for the good of the women and men of our continent, today and in the future.
They are present all over Europe, they live among them a relationship of profound communion, in freedom, in the respect for diversity. They cultivate openness and dialogue with all those who have the future of Europe in their heart and its responsibility in front of the world.

With the decennial journey of 'Together for Europe’ “God has given us the possibility of being witnesses to the value of unity”. It is with these words that Andrea Riccardi, founder of the Community of St. Egidio, opened the annual meeting of the 250 movements and communities who adhere to the project, gathered together from the 10th to the 12th of November in Sassone (Rome).
After the event of last year which was held at the headquarters of the Schoenstatt Movement in Valledar (Germany), and in 2009 – on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the expereince of “Together for Europe” – wherein the meeting was held at the Center of the Community of St. Egidio (Rome), now it is the turn of the Focolare Movement to welcome the “Friends”.
The program consists of, above all, the prepration for the forthcoming event that is scheduled for the 12th of May. During the days in Rome there was the occasion to visit the International Center of the Focolare Movement (Rocca di Papa – Rome), and also a meeting with the President Maria Voce.
