Collaboration between Christian communities and movements

sonnenschirme_01

The collaboration between Christian communities and movements is a free convergence of movements and communities, that preserve their own independence, but work together on certain occasions for shared goals, giving the contribution of their charism and their spirituality. Their members are Catholic, Evangelical, Orthodox, Anglican, Reformed, Pentecostal.

It is not a complex organization or a new superstructure, but wants to correspond to meet today’s needs of  "building a "culture of reciprocity" in which different people and individuals can get to know each other,  welcome and reconcile with one another, and learn to respect and support each other.

"In our sharing we see more clearly our responsibility in meeting the challenges of Europe today: a strong social cohesion in cultural diversity. The awareness that our differences are an asset, not a reason for fear or separation. This can be a sign of hope wherever the danger of coexistence occurs. Our fellowship is based on evangelical love, always renewed with a continuous open exchange. "(from the message Stuttgart 2007)

These movements and communities are involved in a variety of areas: family, work, education, youth, economy, health, media, politics, art, environment, sport, old and new forms of poverty, culture and peace.
