Congress 2007
‘Together, on the way’
The Congress for the representatives of all the European movements and communities will take place in Stuttgart on the 10th and 11th of May, 2007 just before the ‘Together for Europe’ meeting. This will be organized by the German movements, while its participants will come from all over Europe.
The aim of the Congress is for the various movements to get to know one another better, and to communicate their own experiences as a service to society and to the Churches, leading to opportunities for shared commitments and collaboration.
2,000 delegates from more than 240 movements from all over Europe took part in the previous Congress, held before the first ‘Together for Europe’ meeting on the 6th and 7th of May, 2004.
The 22 Forums that met dealt with themes such as evangelisation, prayer, marriage and the family, service to the poor, environment, economy, politics and art.

Gerhard Pross (YMCA Esslingen and CdR), Marianne Schneppe (Focolare Movement), Thomas Römer (Munich YMCA), Fr. Lothar Penners (Schönstatt), Sr. Anna-Maria aus der Wiesche (Christusbruderschaft Selbitz).
