On May 11, 2019, in Toulouse, 60 persons gathered in the spirit of Together for Europe<\/em>. <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Among those present there were G\u00e9rard Testard, of the European Committee and two members of the National Committee. Besides representatives of the Movements there were other persons who were interested in Europe.<\/p>\n

G\u00e9rard Testard delivered an illuminating speech through which he explained the importance of Europe, the impact of the European decisions upon our daily lives and the contribution Christians ought to give for the future of the Continent with values such as unity, the common good, solidarity and cooperation. He also spoke about Europe\u2019s mission in the world. The discussion which followed made clearer to all certain issues.<\/p>\n

At the end, the Pact of Mutual Love was read out and this was followed with a prayer for Europe, which was written by G\u00e9rard Testard (you can read it here in French).<\/p>\n

We have experienced together a fantastic a moment of brotherhood. Someone affirmed: \u201cI had no intention of voting; however, after this speech I\u2019ve changed my mind\u201d. And another: \u201cI was very much struck and challenged by the Pact of Mutual Love as the way to bring together Christ to today\u2019s Europe\u201d.<\/p>\n
