{"id":351927,"date":"2025-05-12T11:39:02","date_gmt":"2025-05-12T09:39:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.together4europe.org\/porto-for-a-europe-of-peace\/"},"modified":"2025-05-13T06:34:09","modified_gmt":"2025-05-13T04:34:09","slug":"porto-for-a-europe-of-peace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.together4europe.org\/en\/porto-for-a-europe-of-peace\/","title":{"rendered":"Porto: for a Europe of peace"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p>Together with representatives of the different Christian Churches, we gathered in a moment of intense spirituality <strong>to invoke peace, light and courage.<\/strong> A shared wish: that all men and women of goodwill may become true builders of bridges between peoples.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p>It was a <strong>simple but deeply meaningful meeting.<\/strong> In an atmosphere of fraternity and recollection, the Churches, Movements and Communities present raised their common prayer for Europe and for peace in the world.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the service, a symbolic disc was hung for each country named in the prayer: a concrete gesture to represent the spiritual commitment to that nation.
